He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bare and Francis Royal Bare; his wife Diane Barber Bare; and his siblings, Nathan Eugene Royal, Henry Bare, Johnny Ray Bare, Bobby Eugene Bare, Alice Sue Lambert and Peggy Sue Gunner.
He is survived by: his son Bobbie Bare of Lexington; his stepchildren, Lee Walker of Salisbury, Tina Gallager and Lena Anderson; and his siblings, Alex Alonzo Bare of Millers Creek, Jerry Dean Bare of Millers Creek, Fannie Louise Blanton of Ferguson, Wilma Caldwell of Kings Creek and Carolyn Ann Medley of Sparta. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
