He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivey Harrald and Nora Reeves Harrald. He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Thompson of Kingsport, TN, Sherry Gill of Kingsport, TN, Judy Wagoner of North Carolina and Lesa Calton of Maryland; his sister Barbara Lewis of Jefferson, NC; his niece Hollie Brown; his wife Sammie Buchanan Harrald; and his grandson Justin Thompson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren.
