He is survived by : his wife Kathy Houck Crepps; his stepchildren, James Caudill of Lansing, Josh Witherspoon (Jennifer) of Laurel Springs, Jamie Witherspoon of South Carolina, Mario Witherspoon (Kelly) of Wilkesboro and Tonya Denny (Lee) of Creston; his sister Marilyn H. McGrady of Jefferson; his grandchildren, Channing Potter, Tucker Witherspoon and Chloe Witherspoon; his stepgrandchildren, Chad Denny, Charles Denny, Jamie Caudill and Brandi Caudill; and his nephew Josh Hurley.
