He was predeceased by: his parents, Baxter Sheets and Ada Sheets; his wife Sharon Sheets; and his close friend Eula Taylor. He is survived by: his children, Bobby Sheets Jr. (Jennifer) of Sparta, NC and Cris Sheets of Jefferson, NC; his sister Lillian Reeves of Laurel Springs, NC; his grandchildren, Mason and Brooke Sheets of Sparta; and his nephew Ricky Reeves of Laurel Springs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Boone Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services (2005 Mt Jefferson Rd, West Jefferson, NC 28694). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Peak Creek Church of the Brethren (2082 Peak Creek Church Rd, Laurel Springs, NC 28644).
