He was predeceased by: his parents, William Charlie Herring and Rachel Allen Herring. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Caulk Herring; his children, William Jim Herring, Jr., Donald William Herring, Raymond E. Herring, Larry E. Moody and Susan Marie Herring; his sisters, Haley Jones of Dillon, SC and Helen Herring of Dillon, SC; his grandchildren, Allen Pridgen, Tonya Robbins, Jordan Herring, Ethan Herring, Matthew Herring, Madison Herring, Evan Herring and Jessica Robbins; and his great grandchild Courtney Robbins. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
