He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Monroe Dean, Sr. and Evelyn Callahan Dean of Marlboro County; and his wife Zelpha Wilde Dean. He is survived by: his children, David Dean, Danny Dean (Phyllis), Nelson Monroe Dean, Jeffrey Dean (Brenda), Mark Dean and Patricia Dean Absher (James); his grandchildren, Patricia Gail Dean, Danny Dean, Angela Michelle Dean, Mona Ann Dean, Jeffrey David Dean, Jamie Nelson Dean, Lyulf Dean and Liam Dean; and his great grandchildren, Alexandra Mongold, Callie Harrison, Darwin Kitsune Dean, Rhette Leasure and Cameryn Leasure.
