He was predeceased by: his parents, Dixon C. Callahan and Virginia Goodwin Callahan; his son Paul Callahan; his brother Roland Callahan; and his stepson Jerry Michael DeBerry.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie A. Callahan; his children, Robert Callahan, Rhonda Stewart and Ricky Callahan (Kay); and his stepchildren, Cynthia Sweet (Boone), Katherine Dieffenbach (Joe) and Japheth DeBerry (Kate). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
