He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Knight and Polly Locklear Knight of Scotland County, NC.; his wife Brenda Faye Smith Knight; his son Thomas T. K. Knight; and his brother Wilbert Knight.
He is survived by: his son James Knight (Gloria) of Laurel Hill; his daughter-in-law Sherry Knight of Laurel Hill; his siblings, Ronnie Knight (Pat), Lillie Mae "Rabbit" Smith, Joanne Smith and Marcella Grainger (Bill); his grandchildren, Jamie Knight (Kierrah), Casey Holcombe (Dustin), Shane Knight (Chloe), Brandon Knight (Jasmine), Kaleb Knight (Christi) and Josh Medlin; and his great grandchildren, Alayna Knight, Owen Knight, Conway Knight, Jason Medlin and Adalyn Medlin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel (13640 Andrew Jackson Hwy, Laurinburg, NC 28352). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Pinecrest Cemetery. A burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at the same location.
