He was predeceased by: his mother Annie Josephine "Jo" Skipper Goins; and his brother James Leslie Goins, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Lewis Goins; his children, Jamie Keith Goins I (Sandy) of Laurel Hill, Rebecca "Becky" Jones (Byron) of Raeford, Nikki Hough of Gibson, Jenna Mason Locklear (Anthony) of Laurinburg and Laura Beth "LB" Cheek (Davon) of Laurinburg; his grandchildren, Jamie Keith Goins II, Luke Byron Jones, Lily Joelyn Jones and Nicholas Trent Hough; and his great grandchild Banks Walker Ratliffe.
