Joseph Reece Blalock Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Reece Blalock of Laurel Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on August 6, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Edward Blalock and Wilma Reece Blalock Britt; and his son Robert Britt. He is survived by: his granddaughter Eileen C. Blalock; his son Kevin Blalock; his sister Sue Ann B. Long; his wife Elaine Modlin Blalock; his son David Blalock of Southern Pines, NC; his daughter-in-law Elizabeth "Liz" Blalock Barnes (Matt) of Maryland; his brother Kent Britt (Jude) of Florida; and his grandchildren, Eileen Blalock and Jordan "Reece" Blalock. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
