He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lewis Wood and Madeline Kendrick Wood; and his brother Jack Wood. He is survived by: his wife Bertie Roberts Wood; his children, Jason Lewis Wood (Carrie) of Laurinburg and Shannon Lee Wood Bowers (Johnny) of Gibson; his siblings, Jim Wood (Marilene) of Claremont and Teresa Wood Sweet of Gibson; and his grandchildren, Justin Bowers and Jensen Wood.
