She was predeceased by: her husband Vester Sessoms; and her siblings, Emma High Carter, Mary Langley, Betty Lou Williams, Willie Norton, Ervin Norton, Marshall Norton, Alton Norton, Baxter Norton, Teab Norton and Armand Norton.
She is survived by: her son Tommy Sessoms (Doris) of Laurel Hill; her grandchildren, Amy McMillan (Winston "Wyn") of Sneads Ferry and Adam Sessoms (Candace) of Laurel Hill; her great grandchildren, Graham, Abigail McMillan, Gavin, Cayleigh and Piper Sessoms; her niece Dorinda Wells; and her sister Laurine Chavis Howie of Charlotte.
