He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Goins and Nancy Bryant Goins of Robeson County, NC.; his wife Myrtle Lee Snuggs Goins; and his son Shaun Goins. He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Goins (Courtney Jacobs) of Fayetteville, Timothy Goins of Laurinburg and Roger Goins of Gibson; his sister Lib Jernigan of Gibson; his grandchildren, Dakota, Jordan, Destiny, Shaun, Jr., Christian, Justin, Maddison, Taylor, Nat-Nat, Chandler and Cashton; and his great grandchildren, Talon and Kane.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel (13640 Andrew Jackson Hwy, Laurinburg, NC 28352).
