He was predeceased by: his father Jon Eugene Cox; and his daughter Elizabeth Cox-Tyner. He is survived by: his mother Peggy Ann Dunn Cox of Laurel Hill; his children, Burl Eugene "B. J." and Heather Ann Paul (Joshua) of Little River, SC; his sister Robin Lynn Dew of Laurinburg; and his grandchildren, Nick, Victoria, Aiden, Cainan, Dakota, Caleb, Sydney, Brycen and Chelsea. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and many friends.
