He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Erwin Gibson and Daisy Walters Gibson; his daughter Sheila Gibson; and his brother Charles Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Paula MacDonald Gibson; and his children, Jerome Gibson of Laurinburg, Lisa Gibson of Laurinburg and Ashleigh Gibson of Gibson. He is also survived by five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, along with his extended family and friends.
