He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth Barton; and his brothers, Donald Guinn and Fred Barton. He is survived by: his wife Gracie Knight Barton; his children, James Barton, Leon Barton and Linda Lovell (Eddie) of Laurel Hill; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Marie Harding, Clarence Harding, Tyler Barton, Amanda Barton and Gladys Barton; and his great grandchildren, Bailey Richardson, Sophia Jacobs, Nevaeh Harding and Miah Harding. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
