He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Hinkle and Nora Lee Dobson Hinkle; and his wife Evelyn Church Hinkle. He is survived by: his children, James Hinkle of Smithfield, VA, Alicia Roark (Kyle) of Fleetwood and Pam Cole (Doby) of Lansing; and his siblings, Max Hinkle (Lois) of High Point, Troy Hinkle, Jr. of Waharncliffe, WV, Lois Smith of Sterling Heights, MI, Mescal Kennedy of Waharncliffe, Penny Davis of Detroit, MI and Annette Dean (Woody) of Varney, WV. He is also survived by four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
