He was predeceased by: his father Lee Barr; and his sister Helen Barr Whittington. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Shepherd Barr; his daughters, Angie Barr Stansberry (Eddie) of Lansing, Amy Hall (Tracey) of Laurel Springs and Debra Greer of Jefferson; his grandchildren, Megan Kinder, Jacob Greer, Hanna Hall and Haley Hall; and his great grandchild Emory Kate Cochran. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
