He is survived by: his mother Gisela Peumpel; his wife Annette Stewart Burkhart; his children, Destiny Burkhart of Christiansburg, VA and Rodrick Burkhart; his stepfather Gilmar Eversole of Max Meadows, VA; his siblings, James Burkhart (Darlene) of Max Meadows, VA, Westley Eversole of Wytheville, VA, Kim Duneford of Wytheville, VA and Missy Eversole of Wytheville, VA; his parents-in-law, Boyd and Sue Stewart of Lansing; his brother David; his sister-in-law Tanya Hudler of Jefferson; his brother Jason; and his sister-in-law Tina Fleming of Mooresville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
