He was predeceased by: his parents, Grey Farmer and Delsie Davis Farmer; his wife Deanna Trivett Farmer; his grandson Derek Farmer; and his siblings, Orpha Stamper, Effie Taylor, Lorine Surber, Wilton Farmer, Tommy Farmer and Vernie Farmer.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Farmer (Drema) of Lansing, Billy Farmer (Tammy) of Lansing, Rick Farmer (Angie) of Fleetwood, Darlene Trone (Donnie) of Leesburg, VA and Shirley Lewis (Rob) of Lansing; and his sister Kathleen Hensley (Cecil) of White Top, VA. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
