He is survived by: his wife Lois Janette Welch; his children, Tammy R. Welch of Lansing and Sean E. Welch (Theresa) of Cummings, GA; and his grandchildren, Michelle A. Hicks (Jason) of Cove, AR, Dusty J. Blevins (Judson) of Jefferson and Ian G. Welch of Cummings, GA. He is also survived by four great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
