It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Gilley of Lansing, North Carolina, who passed away on March 4, 2021, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Gilley and Bertie Perry Gilley; his brother Ricky Gilley; and his grandson Liam Gabriel Wood. He is survived by: his fiancée Jacqueline Weaver of Lansing; his children, Brandon Gilley of Alleghany County, David Lewis Gilley of West Jefferson and Ashley Weaver Wood of West Jefferson; and his siblings, Jerry Gilley (Polly) of Jefferson, Kenny Gilley of Wilkesboro, Wanda Dollar (Bernard) of Jefferson, Brenda Ham (Gary) of Lansing and Linda Bennett (Ricky) of Lansing. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
