He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alex Shaver and Nora Elizabeth Carver Shaver; his son Scott Shaver; and his sister-in-law Lillie Mae Shaver. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Shaver; his sons, David and Travis Shaver; his siblings, Linda "LuLu" Wingler (Ernest), Norman Shaver and Larry Shaver (Teresa); and his grandson Aaron Shaver.
