He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyce Hartsoe and Virgie Brooks Hartsoe of Warrensville; his sisters, Mary Alice Robinson of Kinsale, Virginia and Linda Jane Roark of Warrensville; and his son James Ronnie Hartsoe, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, David (Michelle Hartsoe) of Lafayette and Sandra Leigh (Christopher Trudell) of Houston, Texas; his granddaughters, Ava and Selena Keys of West Jefferson; and his close friend Barbara Elaine Isley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, many dear friends.
