He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Roark and Gaye Wood Roark; his wife Susan Perry Roark; and his siblings, Margaret Galamore, Mary Lynn Roark, Johnny and Harold Roark.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Lynn Wheeler (Joe) of Lansing and James Edward Roark of Union Grove; and his brothers, David Roark of Harmony, Mike Roark of Statesville, Jerry Roark of Clemmons and Wayne Roark of Yadkinville.
