It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Wayne Elliott of Lansing, North Carolina, who passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Washington Elliott and Essie Elliott. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Emerson Elliott; his children, Charlotte Peak (Roger) of Mouth and Michael Elliott (Tracie) of Lansing; his siblings, Julie Richardson of Lansing and Claude Elliott (Louise) of Lansing; his grandsons, Joshua Peak (Kelly) and Daniel Peak (Heather); and his great grandchildren, Jayna, Jace, Kaelyn, Aaron and Caleb Peak. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
