It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Allen Thompson of Lansing, North Carolina, who passed away on March 19, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Denver Thompson and Margaret Thompson Elliott; his brother Randy Thompson; his children, Chuck Thompson (Robert) of Crumpler, Jack Thompson and Chelsea Thompson of Warrensville; his stepparents, Louise Thompson of West Jefferson, Claude and Louise Elliott of Lansing; and his siblings, Joe Elliott of Warrensville, Lynda Campbell (Donnie) of Grassy Creek and Ginger Sheets (Scotty) of Warrensville.
The family respectfully requests no food or flowers; however, donations may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
