He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Virginia May of Rising Sun; his children, Michelle Brooks (Shannon) of Siloam Springs and Doug Shephard II (Heather Smith) of Fleetwood; his siblings, Donna Toliver (Joe) of Rising Sun and Jim May (Diane) of Bel Air; and his grandchildren, Skyler Dillard, Laken Blankenship, Sydnee Shepherd, Talarah, Chloe, Aiden and Emma Smith-Shepherd.
