He is survived by: his parent Ricky Edward Carpenter; his wife Miranda Ellison Carpenter; his children, Neveah and Dawson; his stepchildren, Kya and Rylan; his mother Sandra Blevins Carpenter of West Jefferson; his sister Kristin Weaver (Josh) of Jefferson; his mother-in-law Nancy Ellison of Jefferson; his grandmothers, Juanita Dolinger of Independence, VA and Olive Carpenter of Lansing; his uncles, Randy Blevins of Whitetop, VA, Doug Blevins of Galax, VA, Robbie Dolinger of Sparta, Bob Carpenter of Lansing and Bennie Carpenter of Lansing; his niece Alley Weaver of Jefferson; and his close friends, Benjamin Blevins and Jeremy Loggins.
