He is survived by: his wife Violet Jones Bare; his children, James Thomas Bare of Crumpler, Denver Anthony Bare of Lansing, Christina Violet Bare of West Jefferson and Gloria Rosetta Hulings of Wilkesboro; and his siblings, Nathan Bare of Taylorsville, Vicky Bare of Wilkesboro, Claire Shepherd of Laurel Springs and Vivoloyd Jones of Newton. He is also survived by Twelve grandchildren and four nieces and fourteen nephews.
