He is survived by: his mother Martha Roe Goss of Lansing; his children, Robert Goss of Spruce Pine and Becky Nelson of Sparta; his siblings, Doug Goss of Lansing, Stella Revis of Lansing and Lillian McElreath Linville Falls; and his grandchildren, Tyler Nelson, Lexie Nelson and Dillon Nelson. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
