He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Edward Carpenter and Olive Lewis Carpenter; his brother Ricky Carpenter; his nephew Derick Carpenter; his children, Travis Carpenter of Lansing, Bobby Shane Carpenter and Melissa Hicks of Vilas; and his siblings, Bennie Carpenter of Lansing and Sharon Huffman of Lansing. He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
