He is survived by: his parents, Lee Riddle and Evelyn Edwards (Dewight); his wife Lynn Staples Riddle; his children, Ben Riddle, Jeffrey Safley (Sarah), Jessica Safley (Kevin Sharpe) and Jeana Phelps; his siblings, Kenneth Riddle (Amanda) and Vickie Mecimore (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Jalyn Safley, Sophia Safley, Hunter Safley and Kevin Sharpe III.
