She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hamilton Sexton and Rebecca Ham Sexton; her husband Donald Adams; and her siblings, Wiley Sexton, Bluford Sexton, Ethel Richardson, Alice Black and Bertie Testerman.
She is survived by: her son Everett Adams (Sandy) of Lansing; her grandchildren, Karen Adams and Keith Adams; her stepgrandson Brady Brown (Kelly); and her great grandchildren, Tulsa Howell and Jolie Tuttle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Ashe County Honor Guard, P.O. Box 135, West Jefferson, NC 28694 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
