It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Lee Johnson Hawks (Landis, North Carolina), who passed away on June 3, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father L. A. Johnson; her husband James "Rebel" Lowe; her brother Larry Johnson; her niece Amanda Johnson; and her brother-in-law Nelson Horne.
She is survived by: her son Rusty Hawks (Lisa); her grandsons, Jesse Hawks (Karaghen), Alex Hawks (Kayla) and Garrett Hawks; her great grandchildren, Gabriella, River, Ellie and Della; and her siblings, Teresa Horne, Kenneth Johnson and Michael Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great friends.
