It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Raymond Lee Hinson of Landis, North Carolina, who passed away on June 7, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Sampson Hinson and Mary Lou Williams Hinson; his wife Shirley Correll Hinson; his children, Russell Lamar Hinson, Joseph Allen Hinson and Rae H. Griggs; and his siblings, Donald Hinson, David Hinson, William Boyd Hinson, George Lee Hinson, Billy Ray Hinson, John Henry Hinson and Patricia Hinson Slough.

He is survived by: his daughter Tamra Safriet (Dink); his siblings, Kenneth Wayne Hinson, Richard Dale Hinson and Carlene Hinson Beaver; and his grandchildren, Andrea Mullinax Cox, Philip Wayne Mullinax (Limary), Jennifer Bunnell (James), Terra Garland (Jeff) and Jared Hinson (Megan). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested you kindly remember Rev. Hinson with memorials in his honor to the Salvation Army, 620 Bringle Ferry Road, Salisbury, NC 28144.
