She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Barr and Mary Eldreth Barr; her husband Brown Albert DuVall, Jr.; her son Brown Albert DuVall III; and her sister Wilma Fuhr.
She is survived by: her children, Marsha Reese (Tommy) of Kannapolis and Duane DuVall of Kannapolis; her grandchildren, Rebecca Hall (Alex), Nicholas Reese, Matthew DuVall (Gale) and Elizabeth Bridges (Megan); and her siblings, Helen Barr, Dean Barr (Ann), Elma Jean Morrison, Bobbie Blevins, Shirley Blevins (Lewis), Linda Compton (John), Jack Barr (Bebbie), Carol Hinckley (Ron), Christie Smith (Jeff) and Steve Barr (Lisa).
Due to the Covid pandemic, a private family gathering for a graveside service to honor Peggy's life will be held.
