He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Garver and Virginia Garver; his stepson Derek; and his sisters, Shirley and Ann.
He is survived by: his wife Faye; his sons, Jeff (Valerie) and Duane; his grandchildren, Marie (AJ), Amber (Zach) and Sean; his great grandchildren, Mikalyn, Curtis, Hunter, Grayson and Patrick; and his brothers, John (Sandy) and Tommy (Donna). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family will be grateful for memorial donations to First Baptist Church of Enochville, 2308 Davis St, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
