She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Franklin and Brite Eaker Wells; her husband Robert Coy Wellmon; and her siblings, Pinkney Wells, Sue Kerley, Linda Underwood and Margaret Stackleather.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Wellmon (Shelly) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Freida Burton (Steve) of Humboldt, Janice Teague (Timmy) of Kannapolis and Patricia Hildreth of Phoenix, AZ; and her sister Lois Daniels of Kannapolis. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
