He was predeceased by: his parents, John Elmer Silk and Pearl Wargo Silk; and his siblings, Kenneth Silk and Audrey Fulcher (Bob Fulcher). He is survived by: his wife Carol Silk; his children, Melissa Garcia (Bernal), Matthew Silk (Laurel) and Kenneth Silk (Alexis); his grandchildren, Bernie Garcia, Lexie Garcia, Chase Silk, Cali Silk, Thalia Silk, Cameron Silk, Gabby Garcia and Kenny Silk; his sisters, Jerri Blair (Joe), Jackie Hinson (Kurt) and Judy Hyman (Bob); and his sister-in-law Linda Silk. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
