She was predeceased by: her parents, John T. Harrington and Maude Plyler Harrington; her son Jon Paul Heberlein; and her sister Ruth H. Wilkes. She is survived by: her husband James "Brad" Gryder; and her sisters, Jonnie H. Roseman (Clyde) of Kannapolis and Hannah H. Bost (Dale Bost) of Hickory. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
