She was predeceased by: her father Baxter Prevatte, Sr.; her husband Richard Leroy Morgan; and her siblings, Edna Prevatte, Margie Hales, Annie Hoyle and Curtis (Billy Ray).

She is survived by: her children, Dale Morgan (Glenda) of Sanford, Gail Clouse (Ron) of Monroe, NC, David Morgan of Lakeview and Lori Short (Glenn) of Carthage; and her brother Baxter Prevatte, Jr. (Jean) of Wendell. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
