He was predeceased by: his parents, William Buie and Thelma Buie; and his brother Jackie Wicker. He is survived by: his daughter Haydyn B. Blue of Cameron; his brother Dean Buie of Hoffman; his uncles, Jerry Buie of Siler City and Stanley Buie (Kathy) of Vass; and his close friend Paul Salmon of Carthage.
