It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shawn Chavis (Lakeview, North Carolina), born in Pinehurst, North Carolina, who passed away on August 7, 2018, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Mitchel Chavis. He is survived by: his mother Ann Morrison; his siblings, Shanana McKenzie (Brent) of Lakeview and Shadadoyle Chavis (Pam) of Vass; his nieces, Kortnie and Emily; and his nephew Asher. He is also survived by son, brother, uncle and friend.
