Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gray Simmons Cole of Lakeview, North Carolina, born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 77, on April 25, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raleigh Doake and Frances Gwynn Simmons; and her brother James Doake "Jimmy" Simmons. She is survived by: her husband John Roy Cole; her sons, Tommy Cole (Crystal) and Mike Cole (Melissa); her grandchildren, Bethany Goode (Ryan), Chelsea Tart (Chad), Alex Cole, Phillip Cole, Preston Cole and Madison Cole; and her sister-in-law Joyce Simmons (Numerous). She is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews.
