She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Smith and Delvia Gerlene McCrary Smith; her daughter Casey D.; and her brothers, Donnie Gravley and Tony Elium.
She is survived by: her children, Michael T. Phillips (Sheryll) and Elisha M. Taylor (Chad Harrelson); her grandchildren, Brandon Taylor, Alexis Taylor, Destiny Adkins (Jarrod) and Christopher M. Phillips (Paige); her great grandchild Addison G. Phillips; and her brother Gary Smith.
