He is survived by: his children, Julie Anne Coleman Hathway of Tabor City and Ian Coleman (Jerri) of Whiteville; his stepdaughter Gayle Lathom (Paul) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Summer Love Watts, Triston Hathway, Shannon Duckworth, Hailey Lathom Abasiekong, Taylor Lathom and MaKenzie Branson; his great grandchildren, Chelsey Duckworth McRae, David Duckworth, SuEllen Duckworth, Drake Duckworth, Jaydon Watts, Ryan Long, Grayson Long, River Cox, Natalie Cox, Brooke Cox, Sabre Cox and Velour Cox; and his great great grandchildren, Beau Duckworth, Ryder Duckworth, Maddie Lathom, James Lathom and Robert Stephens (Camele) of Pender County.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Hillcrest Cemetery (214 Sam Potts Hwy, Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450).
