She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. L. O. Sellers and Alma Greer Sellers; her husband Rev. John Wright Dawsey, Sr.; her son John Wright Dawsey, Jr.; and her siblings, Annie Belle Patterson, Wayne Sellers, David Sellers and Floyd Sellers.
She is survived by: her daughter Rose Dawsey (Toby Hall) of Lake Waccamaw; her grandchildren, Jonathan Wright Hildreth (Hollie) of Winthrop, ME and Annemarie Rose Rajkowski of Boone; her great grandchildren, Everett Hildreth and Oliver Hildreth; and her sister Yvonne Ellis of Whiteville.
