He was predeceased by: his father Charles Edward McKee; and his brother Thomas "Red" Howard McKee. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Neville McKee; his children, Heather Dawn McKee Woody (Mark) of Whiteville and Kenneth "Kenny" Charles McKee, Jr. (Jaime) of Asheville; his siblings, Jacqueline Sue Ganus of Whiteville and Marvel Marie McKee of Leland; and his grandchildren, Lucas Edward McKee and Lilah Grace McKee.
