It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Mercer of Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on June 2, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tilton Etheridge and Lucille Mintz Etheridge. She is survived by: her husband Charles R. Mercer; her children, Randy Mercer (Robin) of Old Dock and Kim M. Boswell (Franklin) of Pikeville; her brother Randall Etheridge (Ann) of Lake Waccamaw; her grandchildren, Landon Coleman, Samantha Mercer, Chase Mercer and Evan Mercer; and her stepgrandchildren, Cortney B. Laub and Cameron Boswell.
